Browne Jacobson advises Tendra Technical Services as built environment group accelerates national growth
Browne Jacobson has advised Tendra Technical Services, backed by Triton Partners' Smaller Mid-Cap Fund II, on its investment into FMS Integrated Building Services, a multi-disciplinary facilities management provider.
The transaction is Tendra's fifth since its establishment in December 2025, and the first bolt-on mandate on which Browne Jacobson has advised the group. The UK and Ireland law firm's relationship with Tendra stretches back to the platform's formation, having previously advised the shareholders of James Mercer Group and Fletchers Engineering on their respective sales to Tendra.
Browne Jacobson’s team was led by Corporate Partner Ryan Brown and supported by Associates Alex O’Donoughue, Associate Benedetta Cocconi, Senior Associate Jade Williamson (tax), Partner Tom Cressey (real estate), Associate Tim Williams (employment) and Partner Colette Withey (commercial).
Ryan Brown commented: "The technical services sector is undergoing significant consolidation, and businesses that can combine specialist capability with genuine national reach are increasingly attractive to both investors and customers. Having advised on the formation of the Tendra platform and now on its buy-and-build programme, we have a front-row seat to the growth of what is fast becoming one of the most compelling businesses in the UK built environment sector."
Last year the team advised the shareholders of two separate businesses, the James Mercer Group and Fletchers Engineering, on their respective sales to Tendra Technical Services.
