Browne Jacobson advises BGF on multi-million-pound investment into Black Cat Building Consultancy
Browne Jacobson has advised BGF, the UK and Ireland's most active growth capital investor, on its multi-million-pound minority investment into Black Cat Building Consultancy, a Manchester-based commercial project and building consultancy.
Black Cat is one of the UK's leading independent building consultancies, offering a comprehensive range of services including building surveying, design, mechanical and electrical, rating, compliance and project management.
BGF's investment will support Black Cat's ambitious growth strategy, including expansion into new locations across the UK and Ireland, continued workforce growth and enhanced client services.
UK and Ireland law firm Browne Jacobson’s team was led by Corporate Partner Ryan Brown and supported by Associates Alex O’Donoughue and Jessica Lall, Trainee Eleanor Broome (corporate), Partner Gavin Hoccom (construction), Associate Nadine Cannon (Irish law corporate aspects), Principal Associate James Arnold (tax), Partner Graham Ball and Associate Rudo Chinogureyi (banking) and Senior Associate Abbie-May Griffiths (employment).
