Browne Jacobson advises LDC on exit from Mi Hub
UK and Ireland law firm Browne Jacobson has advised LDC, leading UK private equity investor, on its exit from Mi Hub, the global uniform and workwear business, to Sullivan Street Partners (SSP).
Mi Hub sources ready-to-wear, bespoke and technical uniforms for businesses of all sizes, operating through four brands: Dimensions, Alexandra and Yaffy in the UK, and Affinity in the US. Today, more than five million people globally go to work in uniforms sourced by the business.
Browne Jacobson has supported Mi Hub throughout its entire journey, having advised management and LDC on the original management buyout of the business from US-based Tailored Brands, Inc, and continuing to support the group through its subsequent growth and further international expansion in the years since.
The transaction reflects Browne Jacobson's depth of experience in private equity-backed deals and its understanding of the B2B and business services sectors, including the cross-border and regulatory considerations that arise when a business has operations on both sides of the Atlantic.
The Browne Jacobson team advising on the transaction included Partner Sandra Wong, Senior Associate Shania Sood, Associates Jon Bradley and Ben Cowan, Partner James Skivington, and Associate Dina Hansotia.
Sandra said: "Having advised on the original MBO and now this transaction, we have had the privilege of supporting Mi Hub, LDC and management throughout a remarkable growth journey. This is a great example of what a management buyout, backed with the right ambition and capital, can achieve.
“We understand both private equity dynamics and the cross-border complexities involved in transactions – it is this depth of experience which allows us to deliver for clients at every stage of the journey.”
Browne Jacobson has a strong record advising on private equity-backed acquisitions, including complex cross-border transactions in the B2B sector. The firm's corporate team regularly supports investors and management teams through investments, acquisitions and growth strategies across a range of sectors.
Recent deals undertaken by the firm include advising on a French PE-backed acquisition of Eureka Education. Recent deals also include Rcapital on sale of Surface Technology International to Swedish-listed NOTE, and supporting Phenna Group with seven international deals in 2026.
