UK and Ireland law firm Browne Jacobson has been recognised at the prestigious West Midlands Rainmaker Awards, winning the National Legal Team award and Large Deal of the Year.

The award reflects the firm's outstanding contribution to dealmaking across the region and beyond over the past year, with Corporate Partner Clare Hanna also shortlisted for the prestigious Rainmaker of the Year award.

The recognition comes on the back of a highly active year for Browne Jacobson's UK and Ireland, International, M&A, Restructuring and Private Equity teams, which have advised on a number of significant cross-border and domestic transactions for clients across the Midlands and beyond. 

Notable mandates include advising Obsequio Group on its growth strategy, as well as advising management and institutional sellers Beech Tree Private Equity and Beechbrook Capital on the sale of Obsequio Group to Warren Equity Partners – a transaction which achieved a win in the Large Deal of the Year category.
