Browne Jacobson advises WhiteSpider on deal to strengthen digital resilience across UK critical national infrastructure
UK and Ireland law firm Browne Jacobson has advised WhiteSpider Enterprise Services Limited on the sale to Aureos Group, a deal bringing together businesses modernising the UK's critical national infrastructure.
WhiteSpider, a leading digital transformation and IT services company, will expand Aureos' digital services capabilities, bringing advanced technology expertise and software development into its offering for clients across the UK's critical national infrastructure.
The team was led by Corporate Partner Ryan Brown, with support from Senior Associates Owen Brayden and Daniel Knowles and Associate Mattias McDonald. Senior Corporate Tax Advisor Jade Williamson and Partner Craig Thomas advised on tax, and Senior Associate Abbie-May Griffiths advised on employment matters.

The deal adds to the firm’s growing body of infrastructure services market; the firm advised the shareholders of Clearway Drainage Systems on the sale of their company to Kanalservice Gruppe, a leading European provider of critical infrastructure maintenance services, a cross-border deal that demonstrated the continued appetite from European investors for well-run UK infrastructure businesses.
