Browne Jacobson’s Manchester based corporate dealmakers have advised the shareholders of asbestos risk management consultancy, PCS Asbestos Consultants on the sale of the business to Tersus Consultancy which is part of AIM-listed Marlowe PLC.
The shareholders of PCS Asbestos Consultants were also advised on the sale by accounting and business advisory firm HURST.
PCS Asbestos which are based in Huddersfield, are a UK leader in business-critical services and software and provides professional asbestos surveying, management and consultancy solutions throughout the UK and Ireland. It works with a diverse blue chip customer base with extensive commercial property estates across the private sectors, spanning retailing, pubs and leisure and mobile telecoms.
Marlowe provides specialist safety and regulatory compliance services to an extensive portfolio of group companies that manage risks for businesses across individual divisions including health and safety, HR and employment law compliance, fire safety, security, water safety, water treatment, air quality and occupational health services.
Browne Jacobson’s Manchester based corporate partner Ryan Brown led on the deal, alongside senior associate Ceri Jones, associate, Harpinder Nahl and trainee solicitor, Olivia Barrow.
