Browne Jacobson advises on sale of Clearway Drainage Systems to pan-European infrastructure group
Browne Jacobson has advised the shareholders of Clearway Drainage Systems Limited on the sale of their company to Kanalservice Gruppe, a leading European provider of critical infrastructure maintenance services.
The deal sees UK drainage and wastewater specialist Clearway join Kanalservice Gruppe's growing pan-European platform, strengthening its position across drainage, sewer maintenance and industrial cleaning services.
The Browne Jacobson team was led by Corporate Partner Ryan Brown, supported by Associate Benedetta Cocconi and trainee solicitor Anne Gascoigne. Partner Andrew Noble and Principal Associate Craig Thomas supported on tax, and Associate Tim Williams on the employment aspects.

The deal adds to Browne Jacobson's growing track record in advising on strategic transactions in the infrastructure and industrial services sectors, where cross-border interest remains strong.
Recent deals undertaken by the team include advising on the sale of Jordon Refrigeration to Sun Capital-backed Bellrock, advising on the sale of MC Refrigeration to Nordic Climate Group, helping the business enter the UK market for the first time, advising Broadfield Capital on its buyout of Emtec Climate Solutions and the subsequent bolt-on of Northwest Heating Services and advising Pioneer Group on its sale to TRISON.
