In the final edition of The Word for 2023 we look at a variety of subjects, including an update on Autonomous Vehicle legislation in the UK, the latest case (or not, as the case may be!) on directors’ duties and an update from the FCA on Consumer Duty.
We also review a case on the meaning of ‘deliberate concealment’ and the potential implications for PPI and other mis-selling claims, and the possible implications for insurers of the ban on the XL Bully dog breed.
Finally, as we are in the middle of binder-renewal season, we take the opportunity to discuss some of the main pitfalls in standard form binders, and how they can be avoided.
