Lauren is a Trainee Solicitor based in our Nottingham office. Throughout her seat rotations, Lauren has gained valuable experience across a wide range of sectors, working in our Defendant Civil Litigation, Built Environment and Construction teams, where she has developed strong drafting skills, with a keen eye for detail.

Prior to her role as a Trainee Solicitor, Lauren was a Trainee Wordings Technician and Legal Assistant, specialising in insurance policy drafting and distribution. Lauren’s insightful articles on topical matters, such as the impact of the Manchester Ship Canal Co Ltd v United Utilities Water Ltd decision on mass litigation and the implications of the draft Terrorism (Protection of Premises) Bill (now Terrorism (Protection of Premises) Act 2025) for insurers, have featured in our monthly newsletters, The Word and Public Matters.

Alongside legal work, Lauren is actively involved with the firm’s environmental initiatives, including World Environment Day and volunteering with the Nottingham Green Guardians. In her route to qualifying as a Solicitor, and further to graduating with a Law LLB (Hons) Degree, Lauren is now preparing for the Solicitors Qualifying Exams.
