Browne Jacobson ranked as one of UK’s ten most active dealmakers

Law firm Browne Jacobson has been named as one of the most active M&A advisers in the UK for the first half of 2019, according to an independent report.

The firm is ranked as the 9th most active UK dealmaker in the latest M&A Review from Experian MarketIQ after the firm completed 44 qualifying deals, a rise of 10 places on its quarter one placing.

The firm also moved from 22nd place to joint 2nd in the South East, whilst retaining its 3rd place position in the Midlands and being the 4th most active deal adviser in Scotland.

Recent high profile deals the firm has acted on during the first half of the year have included the acquisition of iconic high street brand HMV by Sunrise Records, acting for Palatine Private Equity on the secondary buy out of CET UK, advising Apiary Capital on the merger between Connect Managed Services and G3 Comms and Dalet on the acquisition of the Flex Media Platform business from Ooyala.
