Aysha Jabbar

Aysha is a Legal Assistant within the Technical Claims team. Aysha is well versed in dealing robustly and pragmatically with all aspects of housing conditions claims and is regularly instructed by Registered Social Landlords, Local Authorities and Insurers in relation to housing disputes. Aysha also has experience within personal injury. 

Aysha specialises in defending social landlords in the inordinate number of housing conditions claims which are now being brought and takes a vigorous approach in doing so. Aysha also has significant experience in drafting injunction applications. 

Aysha is regularly instructed on possession claims including counterclaims. Such claims involve set-off, issues of rent arrears, anti-social behaviour and other breaches of tenancy.  

Aysha proactively monitors case developments to advise clients on their strategic options. Aysha provides practical and commercial advice to seek to resolve a range of disputes whether this is through a negotiated settlement or litigation.  

Aysha prides herself on her client care whilst managing expectations and securing results. Aysha has also delivered training to her clients enabling them to improve internal processes with a view to limiting future claims and exposure to liability.
