Welcome to the June 2026 edition of our ‘Insurance insights: London market quarterly’, a digest of cases, news and information for those working in the Lloyd’s and London Market.

- the keenly awaited Supreme Court appeal judgment on whether Furlough should be deducted from COVID-19 BI claims;
- more COVID-19 BI: a High Court judgment in favour of the reinsured relating to pandemic-related event cancellation claims;
- in the ongoing Russian aviation litigation, the strike out of contribution claims against operator policy reinsurers; and
- latest developments in the Baltimore bridge collapse litigation.
