Our 'Social Mobility Day' event focuses on the government's upcoming socio-economic duty and how organisations can strengthen their social mobility initiatives.
Hear from leading experts and gain insights from our team, currently ranked #1 in the Social Mobility Employer Index, on practical approaches to social mobility.
Understanding the legislation
The government has committed to enacting the socio-economic duty, a key provision of the 2010 Equality Act. Enacting this duty will require public sector organisations to address class inclusion and social mobility, with significant implications for both public and private sector organisations.
Our event will provide guidance on navigating these legislative changes and collaborating effectively to enhance social mobility.
Agenda
A 9am networking breakfast will be followed by a series of insightful sessions. Wrapping up with a final opportunity to network and connect with like-minded individuals from organisations committed to social mobility.
Our sessions will cover:
- Accent bias and socio-economic awareness: Featuring a demonstration of our new innovative training
- Outreach strategies for supporting young people across the private and public sectors
- Leveraging client and supplier relationships to advance social mobility
- Designing your social mobility strategy: With insights from our Social Mobility Incubator event series.
We look forward to welcoming you.
