Welcome to the December 2025 edition of our ‘Insurance insights: London market quarterly’, a digest of cases, news and information for those working in the Lloyd’s and London market.
In this edition we look at recent decisions regarding 'follow the settlements' clauses in reinsurance disputes, the application of first-pay clauses in marine policies under the Third Parties (Rights Against Insurers) Act 2010, and the duty of fair presentation under the Insurance Act 2015.
We also touch on updates in the long running Russian aviation litigation and Covid-19 BI litigation.
