It’s officially 1 year until the arrival of Liberty Protection Safeguards (LPS) on 1 October 2020.
The fundamentals of the legislation will bring a clear change in roles and responsibilities, especially for NHS hospital Trusts, and for CCGs, as well as for care homes in particular and it is important to start thinking about this and preparing now.
