Florence is currently in the second seat of her training contract with our government and infrastructure team having completed her first seat in our financial and professional risk team. Florence has gained experience of case management and overseeing legal proceedings and is now developing her skills in, amongst other things, reviewing and drafting contracts, as well as article writing on current legal issues.

Florence spent eighteen months as a paralegal in our banking and finance team, and prior to that she was in the corporate team. Her experience within multiple teams across the firm has allowed her to act as a connector, an important role in supporting one of the firm’s key values – collaboration. She was working whilst studying part-time towards her Graduate Diploma in Law and then her Legal Practice Course. It’s this alternative route into a career as a solicitor that drives her support of the firm’s Fairer Access Into Real Experience (FAIRE) programme, helping, advising, and providing experience to students from varied backgrounds. Florence is also involved in the firm’s Community Action Group which supports local charities and young people.
