Emma Capper

Emma is the Head of the firm’s Employment team and has over 20 years’ experience of advising UK and international businesses across a range of sectors. 

She also leads the Employment team’s strategy for the firm’s clients in the following sectors: Construction and Real Estate, Energy and Infrastructure, Manufacturing and Industrials, Technology, and Retail, Consumer and Logistics.  

Emma has a strong reputation for giving pragmatic advice. She advises on all aspects of employment law, with a particular focus on large scale restructuring projects, employment disputes, Board level exits and investigations. Her work is often international in nature, advising clients on cross-border projects such as implementing new terms and conditions of employment or policies, across multiple jurisdictions. 

Emma also works closely with the firm’s Corporate team on the employment aspects of domestic and international corporate transactions. She regularly provides training to clients on a wide range of issues, including diversity, equity and inclusion, performance management and sickness absence management.
