Cardiff Development Club, October 2026
You’re invited to our upcoming Development Club, taking place at our Cardiff office in partnership with Cardiff Capital Region.
Join us for an insightful session focused on delivering development in South East Wales, with a particular spotlight on the Cardiff Capital Region's (CCR) evolving role as a regional development partner.
What's on the agenda?
Kellie Beirne, CEO of Cardiff Capital Region: Delivering Development in South East Wales: CCR's Role as a Regional Development Partner.
Kellie's presentation will cover:
- An overview of CCR's current development and regeneration programme, including the residential, brownfield and mixed-use schemes most relevant to you and your organisation.
- The Housing Viability Gap Fund – how the fund works, what it has achieved to date (with over 3,300 homes already in the pipeline), what comes next, and how housing associations, local authorities and developers can engage with it.
- CCR's longer-term vision as a development agency, and what CCR is asking of its delivery partners.
Jan Cumming, Browne Jacobson: Legal Framework for Development in Wales.
Jan will provide an overview of the legal framework for development in Wales, with a focus on procurement, funding and subsidy control.
This event is suitable for and aimed at housing associations, developers, local authorities, land agents and consultants.

Following the presentations, we invite you to stay for networking, giving you the opportunity to continue the conversations, connect with peers and explore new relationships. We also encourage you to ask questions throughout the event.
