This holiday pay training course is designed specifically for school leaders and their HR advisers. It focuses on demystifying the complexities surrounding holiday pay, tackling the particular issues affecting the education sector. It will give practical advice for schools and trusts in dealing with holiday pay following the change in law on 1 January 2024.

Delivered live online by Sarah Linden, this interactive and engaging session builds in time for delegates to work through case studies, have their questions answered and share their own learning and experiences.

Delivered live online, delegates will experience an interactive 2.5 hours learning session that covers:

  • Understanding the holiday pay basics.
  • The impact of the Harpur trust v Brazel decision.
  • The new holiday pay rules from 1 January 2024.
  • The application of the rules to education sector workers, including term-time only staff.
  • Understanding your historical holiday pay liability.
  • Development and implementing an organisational strategy for dealing with holiday pay.

A place on this training course is £395+VAT, which permits a second delegate from the same organisation to attend for no additional cost.
