Duncan is a Legal Director in the commercial digital and sourcing team in London. He is an experienced media, technology and commercial lawyer who specialises in drafting, negotiating and managing complex commercial contracts. Duncan has extensive experience across a range of sectors, most notably in media and entertainment, technology and financial services.
Duncan provides clear and pragmatic advice on complex issues, helping clients to achieve their business and commercial objectives whilst mitigating against compliance risks.
Duncan advises on a wide range of commercial matters, including content licensing and media rights, broadcast and distribution, digital platforms, joint ventures, sponsorships as well as technology and outsourcing transactions. He regularly helps clients navigate the interplay between content and technology.
Duncan’s prior experience includes working as a corporate lawyer at Freshfields and as a media and commercial lawyer at Sky and Thomson Reuters, which involved advising on major media and commercial transactions.
