Amy Chapman
Non-Executive Director
Amy is the Non-Executive Director of Browne Jacobson’s Construction and Real Estate sector group.
Amy qualified as a lawyer in the construction team of a large national firm in 2000 before moving in house to Mace in 2003. As Group Legal Director Amy spent the next 16 years growing a large and multi-talented team that had responsibility for all legal matters domestic and international. She ran the global insurance programme, and had responsibility for company secretarial matters. She implemented the company’s compliance programme covering ethics, ABC, data protection, competition and modern slavery.
Amy has extensive experience of the Construction industry and has worked on some of Mace’s most exciting projects including negotiating the contracts on the Shard and supporting Mace’s role in the delivery of the 2012 London Olympics. She was named in The Lawyer’s Hot 100 list in 2013.
In 2021 Amy set up her own consultancy business advising on legal, insurance and compliance issues primarily within the construction industry.
