Andrew specialises in regulatory work, defending corporate bodies and individuals in prosecutions brought by regulators such as the Health and Safety Executive, Environment Agency and local authorities. He also prosecutes cases advising and representing organisations such as Natural England, the Marine Management Organisation and fire authorities.
Andrew provides pro-active risk management advice to both public and private sector organisations on issues surrounding corporate manslaughter and other specific health & safety risks, as well as assisting corporate bodies and individuals in connection with health and safety risks including asbestos and asbestos management, legionella, work at height, confined spaces and the CDM Regulations.
He appeared before the Work and Pensions Parliamentary Committee on behalf of the Association of Principal Fire Officers during the consultation phase of the Corporate Manslaughter Bill.
