The new Mental Health Act webinar

10 March 2026
Online

Please note: This webinar is not recorded.

Join Browne Jacobson's mental health law experts for a timely discussion on the Mental Health Act 2025. With the first reforms due to come into force in February 2026 and significant changes on the horizon, discover what the new legislation means for your practice and how to prepare for the reforms ahead.

The Mental Health Act 2025 received Royal Assent on 18 December 2025, marking the beginning of significant reforms to mental health legislation, which will be phased in over the next eight to ten years. With new provisions for conditionally discharged restricted patients due to come into force in February 2026 and the Code of Practice consultation launching imminently, now is the time to understand these changes.

Join Rebecca Fitzpatrick, head of our mental health team and Mental Health Tribunal Judge, and Victoria Colclough, Partner, for this free one-hour session via Microsoft Teams. We'll explore the immediate reforms, upcoming consultations, and what mental health care professionals and providers need to know to prepare for the phased implementation ahead.
