One year on from the invasion in Ukraine and geopolitical risks are becoming increasingly high profile, being seen as a board agenda item across most industries.
Airmic and the Chartered Institute of Internal Auditors are working together to publish a new report ‘Navigating geopolitical risk’ looking at scenario planning and horizon scanning to ensure that organisations are proactive and retain agility for when the next crisis may strike.
As noted by Julia Graham, CEO of Airmic, the once-in-a-generation events are becoming more frequent and require a collaborative and agile response from risk and internal audit professionals.
