As Browne Jacobson’s Senior Social Mobility Manager, Victoria drives social mobility and social value within the firm and beyond. Her work includes outreach, training, employment skills support, inclusion and advocacy. A professional communications and social mobility expert, Victoria’s career has focused on improving workplace experiences for people from all backgrounds.
Victoria’s experience spans the legal sector and academic research into workplace communication. Victoria qualified as a solicitor in 2008 and worked in large international firms before making the move into higher education, teaching law and gaining a PhD in professional communication. She has extensive experience supporting diverse organisations across public and private sectors to build fairer, more productive and happier workplaces.
In December 2025, Victoria was invited to give evidence on social mobility to the House of Commons Women and Equalities Committee. She also co-created ground-breaking accent and socioeconomic bias training in collaboration with Professor Louise Mullany at University of Nottingham. This aims to raise awareness of how accent bias can silently shape access and progress in professional workplaces.
Victoria has a strong interest in building sustainable societies. She successfully completed the University of Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership’s certificate course in Business Sustainability Leadership and sits on the firm’s ESG Strategy Committee.
Victoria is a mentor supporting people into fulfilling careers. She also volunteers in grassroots junior cricket, building an inclusive environment for young people to enjoy the sport.
