Jon is a partner in the national corporate team, based in London, specialising in advising on corporate transactions for SMEs, entrepreneurs and investors. Jon has a particular focus on advising high-growth technology companies and disruptive, tech-enabled businesses, including FinTech and InsurTech clients and has received recognition in the legal directories (Legal 500 and Chambers) for his expertise in the fields of venture capital and FinTech.
Jon guides and supports high-growth businesses and their stakeholders throughout the company growth lifecycle – from start-up to exit – and advises on a broad range of UK and cross-border private company transactions, including venture capital and private equity investments, mergers and acquisitions, disposals, joint ventures and reorganisations.
Jon is also a French speaker and an active member of the French Chamber of Great Britain.
Advised Agilico Bidco Limited (Agilico), a workplace technology business, on its acquisition of the entire issued share capital of Diamond Group (Holdings) Ltd for an undisclosed sum.
Advised the British Insurance Awards 2018 Insurance Start-Up Award winner 2018, Superscript (formerly Digital Risks), on its £2.25m investment round.
Advised leading global commerce solutions company OSF Commerce on its acquisition of eCommerce agency Blueleaf Communications.
Advised London based insurtech business Laka on its $13.5m Series A investment round, led by US mobility investor Autotech Ventures with participation from sustainable mobility and energy fund Ponooc (a Dutch, sustainable mobility investor with close ties to the world’s largest bike seller, Pon), ABN AMRO Ventures and Porsche Ventures.
