Bilal is an associate in our real estate team, specialising in education sector property work. He advises clients such as Maintained Schools, Single Academy Trusts and Multi Academy Trusts (MATs) on a range of matters, including academy conversions and transfers, estate management and energy infrastructure projects such as solar panel, substation and telecommunication leases.

His work combines an understanding of the regulatory landscape including DfE requirements and safeguarding considerations with clear, practical advice tailored to the needs of education clients.

Having practised in real estate since 2021, Bilal brings broad commercial property experience to his education work, having previously advised on acquisitions, disposals, landlord and tenant matters and property finance across the industrial, retail, office and mixed-use sectors.
