Tom Brennan

Tom is a Professional Development Lawyer in our employment team. He supports fee earners in the team in areas such as current awareness, training, technical research, precedents and knowledge management.

Tom previously trained and worked at an international law firm, and has experience advising clients on a broad range of contentious and non-contentious employment issues. Tom has notable experience in dealing with complex Employment Tribunal litigation, and has acted for both public and private Respondent clients in unfair dismissal, discrimination, whistleblowing and contractual claims.

Tom also advised clients across a variety of sectors on non-contentious employment issues, including: redundancy exercises, changes to terms and conditions of employment, termination of employment and employment issues arising from corporate transactions.

As a Professional Development Lawyer, he is responsible for keeping the team up-to-date with changes to employment law and market trends, sharing know-how, and promoting best practice. Externally, he supports with the production of client-facing training and projects.
