Holly is a senior associate in the construction and engineering team with broad experience across contentious, non-contentious and dispute avoidance matters.

Holly acts for clients both initiating and defending construction disputes, regularly handling adjudications across a wide range of issues including delays, payments, loss and expense, defective workmanship and professional negligence claims. Holly also has experience in court proceedings, including adjudication enforcement.

Beyond formal disputes, Holly works closely with clients during projects to identify and manage potential areas of risk before they escalate. This includes advising on the proper administration of construction contracts, the timely issue of notices and the preservation of contractual entitlements. Holly also has experience in alternative dispute resolution.

Holly reviews and advises on standard industry forms of contract, negotiating key risk allocation provisions including payment terms, variations, extensions of time, loss and expense, suspension and termination. Holly also advises on ancillary documents such as collateral warranties, parent company guarantees, appointments, pre-construction service agreements and letters of intent.
