Read on to hear from Charlotte Harpin, a Partner in our Healthcare Public Law team who is based in our London.

Our question: Which area of law do you specialise in?
Charlotte's response: Healthcare public law
Our question: In five words describe the work you do?
Charlotte's response: Topical, fascinating, intellectually-stimulating, never dull
Our question: What has been your career highlight to date?
Charlotte's response: It’s hard to choose one! Probably supporting NHS England with the CCG authorisation process.
Our question: Tell us something about yourself other probably don’t know.
Charlotte's response: My husband Phil and I watch Die Hard every year as an essential pre-Christmas tradition.
Our question: What could you give a 40-minute presentation on with absolutely no preparation?
Charlotte's response: Either the statutory framework as it applies to CCGs or the origins and peace process in Cyprus. The latter was my dissertation topic at University and I still remember it very well!
Our question: What’s the best way to start the day?
Charlotte's response: Coffee.
Our question: What mystery do you wish you knew the answer to?
Charlotte's response: Why do children wake-up earlier at the weekend than during the week?
Our question: Did you always want to be a lawyer?...
Charlotte's response: No! Many people suggested it would be a good fit but it took me a while to accept their advice.
