Tom Walker is a barrister and legal director in the criminal, compliance and regulatory team. Tom has a background in general and international criminal work, but has focused on specialist regulatory work since 2007.

Tom’s regulatory work has covered both professional discipline and regulatory crime, particularly consumer protection, food and product liability, and health and safety. He has presented cases for regulators such as the Nursery and Midwifery Council, Care Council for Wales, General Pharmaceutical Council and the Solicitors Regulation Authority.

Tom has nearly 20 years’ experience of regulatory criminal prosecutions, and for many years acted as a solicitor-agent for the HSE. He is on List B of the Specialist Regulatory Advocates List. Tom will be taking a lead with the prosecution and regulatory litigation services we offer to clients, including numerous fire authorities, local authorities and government agencies and Regulators.
