Shannon Martin

Shannon is an Associate (FCILEx) (CILEx Litigator) in the Nottingham Financial and Professional Risk Team. She specialises in professional negligence claims and policy coverage advice. 

Shannon has been a member of the team since 2018 and has gained experience of defending a variety of professionals including letting agents, HR consultants, sports clubs, accountants, educational establishments and recruitment consultants. Shannon also has experience of defending Equality Act claims, claims against directors and officers and property damage claims. Shannon is currently involved in a number of high value litigation matters and coverage disputes. 

Shannon previously gained experience as a professional indemnity claims underwriter working within a delegated authority claims handling team. Prior to joining the firm, Shannon worked for a firm handling personal injury claims. She has several years of experience providing excellent client service to insurers, policyholders and brokers.
