Oyin is a pupil Barrister based in Nottingham. Since commencing her pupillage in public law, civil law, and professional discipline, she has gained and will continue to gain experience across a range of practice areas including coronial law, Court of Protection, education, employment, and regulatory proceedings before professional conduct panels.
Alongside her court work, Oyin drafts advice across the full field of the team's practice and is a newly qualified accredited mediator, developing a practice centred on achieving clarity and resolution both inside and outside the courtroom.
Before being called to the Bar in 2021, she worked as an Education Law advocate challenging school exclusions and sanctions, and as an Assistant Adjudicator deciding Higher Education student complaints. Oyin's background has given her a grounding in education, the assessment of evidence, and public sector decision-making from the outset of her legal career.
