Nick Cook

Nick is a Legal Director in the construction and engineering team, specialising in contentious work. He has extensive experience of both domestic and international disputes, ranging from pre-dispute advice through to adjudication, litigation, mediation and arbitration.

Nick’s experience includes major international projects (including marine engineering, geothermal drilling and water treatment facilities), as well as residential, commercial and mixed-use developments. He is familiar with JCT, NEC and FIDIC standard forms, as well as bespoke EPC contracts. He regularly acts both for and against contractors, employers, sub-contractors, construction professionals and funders.

Nick also has significant experience of commercial disputes, including insolvency procedures and the enforcement of arbitration awards.
