Lisa is a solicitor and a Principal Associate advising individuals including business owners, farmers and landowners on all aspects of pre-death and post-death wealth and succession planning including the use of trusts.
Lisa has been a member of ATT since 2000 and inheritance tax and capital gains tax mitigation is a key part of her work both in succession planning, advising trustees and beneficiaries and claiming tax reliefs and dealing with HMRC enquiries post-death.
On qualifying in 1999 Lisa worked in London for a private client team from a leading city firm who had set up on their own advising mainly non-domiciled private clients, until she returned to her home county of Devon in 2007. Since returning to Devon she has continued to deal with some cross-border matters but now mainly advises business owners, land owners and farmers regarding tax planning, trusts, wills and estates.
