Kate Mellor

Kate is an associate within the clinical negligence team working closely with member trusts and NHS Resolution primarily dealing with and investigating claims.  

Kate has a specific focus on maternity, obstetric and early notification work. The Early Notification (EN) scheme is a national programme for the early reporting to NHS Resolution of babies who are born with potential severe brain injury following term labour. It aims to support the government’s ambition to halve the rate of stillbirth, neonatal death and brain injury, and improve the safety of maternity care.
