Catherine Phillips

Catherine is an Associate in the FPR team. She has particular experience in defending claims against solicitors and assisting with policy coverage disputes. She also has extensive experience in defending claims against architects, surveyors, and other construction professionals.

Catherine has worked in-house at insurers where she handled complex claims and professional indemnity coverage disputes for various capacity providers. She has a detailed understanding of the insurance market and the challenges unique to the claims handling process.

Catherine was also deeply immersed in defending claims against solicitors relating to the recent “ground rent scandal” and has published articles on this subject.
