Sarah leads the firm’s mental health and offender health clinical claims team. Her team are dedicated to assisting healthcare organisations in the investigation, management and resolution of clinical claims arising in prison and mental health settings, many of which are high profile and extremely sensitive.
An experienced medical malpractice lawyer, Sarah acts on behalf of public sector organisations, such as NHS Resolution and NHS Trusts, as well as private providers. She advises organisations on their health care disputes, liabilities and indemnity issues, and she routinely deals with technically complex and high value claims arising out of the most severe injuries including brain injury, amputation and complex fatal cases.
Sarah is the client care lead for various mental health organisations for whom we handle claims on behalf of NHS Resolution and she works closely with healthcare providers on learning, risk management and training needs.
