Richard is a corporate lawyer with 15 years’ experience and has acted on some of the firm's biggest deals. Over the last few years, Richard has advised a multinational luxury goods group on a significant joint venture investment in a UK company, acted on a major group reorganisation and corporate governance arrangements for a national high street retail group. He regularly advises on international corporate transactions.
He is also a leading member of the firm’s public sector group and has recently acted on the potential merger of two large public sector procurement organisations and the incorporation of several companies aimed at income generation and the commercialisation of public services.
Advising the management team of market leading sandwich filler manufacturer Fresh-Pak Chilled Foods Limited on the acquisition of that company by Sun Capital Partners, and the subsequent reinvestment by the managers in the purchaser.
