about Dominic

Dominic is a member of the firm’s board. Dominic specialises in commercial property and property development law, advising on all aspects of development, and is the lead partner for Homes England. He has particular expertise in advising on procurement in the context of land transactions as well as handling complex regeneration projects. Dominic leads on our major, large scale complex property projects on behalf of our clients, with his skills extending beyond the application of his legal knowledge into the field of project management.

Dominic is also chair of the education strategy group and a key member of our education team. He has advised on over 100 academy projects, including sponsored projects on their conversion to academy status, providing advice on the structure of the proposed transaction and the structure of the vehicle to be used. Dominic is a director of a multi-academy trust and uses his experience of working within an educational environment when he advises clients drawing on that experience to ensure that he delivers legal advice in a practical way which truly recognises the needs of the client.

Dominic has advised a range of higher education institutions including Russell Group universities on a diverse range of land projects to maximise income and capital returns. Dominic has also acted on a number of significant development projects including those providing for new student accommodation. During the 2019/20 academic year Dominic also undertook a secondment with Kings College London providing support to their in-house legal team.
