Browne Jacobson named legal advisers of the year at HealthInvestor Awards

19 October 2020

Browne Jacobson won the ‘Legal Advisers of the Year – Private’ at the HealthInvestor Awards 2020.

Run by leading UK health sector publisher, HealthInvestor, the awards have been running since 2006 and recognise and reward excellence amongst professionals investing in, advising or operating companies in the independent healthcare space. This year, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the organisers hosted a virtual awards evening.

Browne Jacobson has one of the leading independent health and care practices in the country, providing specialist advice in all areas to a wide range of clients from healthcare disruptors and established providers of health and care services through to venture capital and private equity health specialists, banks, and health insurance providers. Its clients include, amongst others, Alliance Healthcare, Nuffield Health, BUPA, HCA, Spire, Serco, The Doctors Laboratory, The Hesley Group, Care Fertility and Avery Healthcare.

Clare Auty, Partner and Head of the Independent Health and Care team at Browne Jacobson, said:

“Like our clients, our independent health and care team had a challenging twelve months and I’m delighted that our role in advising an impressive portfolio of clients in unprecedented times has been rewarded with this prestigious accolade. Receiving this award reaffirms our position as a National Powerhouse in the sector.”
