Browne Jacobson’s corporate finance team picks up top award at East Midlands Dealmakers

Browne Jacobson’s corporate finance team were crowned top legal advisers in the East Midlands Dealmakers Awards that were announced last night.

The team picked up the coveted Corporate Law Firm of the Year Award, the third time the team has won the accolade since 2016.

The last 12 months has seen the team act on a number of high profile mid-market deals, many of which were shortlisted at this year’s awards, including the management buyouts of Majestic Bingo and Dimensions Clothing, Fisher German's acquisition of Vine Property Management and sales of Care Fertility and Tanglewood Care Homes. In addition, corporate finance partner Gavin Cummings was shortlisted as Dealmaker of the Year and Sandra Wong as Emerging Dealmaker of the Year.

The Dealmaker awards are considered one of the high points in the corporate finance calendar and showcases the achievements of some of the region’s finest corporate dealmakers.

Browne Jacobson has the pre-eminent corporate finance team in the East Midlands and is ranked as a regional heavyweight in the latest edition of Legal 500.
