Sarah Brewington

An associate in our health advisory and litigation department, Sarah works closely with NHS Trusts and NHS Resolution, investigating and dealing with clinical negligence claims. Part of our specialist obstetric division, Sarah has a specific focus on maternity and obstetric claims and cases within NHS Resolution’s innovative Early Notification Scheme. 

Sarah has been working on behalf of NHS Resolution for a number of years. She also has many years’ previous experience acting for claimants and is able to consider both sides’ perspectives when investigating and defending clinical negligence claims. She has a particularly good understanding of the empathy required when communicating with patients and their families, as well as with clinician witnesses. She deals with claims arising from birth injury, neonatal death and maternal injuries during delivery. 

Sarah is also a member of our Shared Insights team, producing the follow up notes provided following each of our flagship monthly Shared Insights calls.
