Browne Jacobson real estate lawyers advise Westerman Homes on key East Midlands land sale

Browne Jacobson have advised W Westerman Limited (Westerman Homes) on the sale of substantial landholdings to Peveril Homes and Peveril Securities, part of the Bowmer + Kirkland Group, for an undisclosed sum.

Westerman Homes, which was founded in the 1930s, is a family run housing development business based in Chilwell, Nottingham. The transaction saw the sale of 725 acres of land across Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire to construction and development company, Bowmer + Kirkland, located in Belper, Derbyshire.

Browne Jacobson real estate partner Barry Sully led a team of lawyers, including partner Rebecca Toates and associate Lauren Jeffrey, all based in the firm’s Nottingham office.
