Browne Jacobson celebrates 26 top tier rankings in latest Legal 500
Browne Jacobson has been ranked as a top tier firm in 26 categories in the latest edition of Legal 500, the independent directory of comparative law firm performance.
Browne Jacobson has been ranked as a top tier firm in 26 categories in the latest edition of Legal 500, the independent directory of comparative law firm performance.
The firm was recommended in 44 practice areas nationally and maintained its heavyweight status in the East Midlands.
Other highlights include:
- a first-time Tier 1 ranking for the Education team in the South West. The Education team now have a Tier 1 ranking in each of the firm’s five regional office locations. The Employment Team for Dorset, Devon and Cornwall also improved its ranking to Tier 2
- a first time ranking for the firm’s Planning team in the West Midlands and the promotion of the construction team in the West Midlands to Tier 3 status
- in London, the Clinical Negligence: Defendant and Personal Injury: Defendant teams both improved their ranking to Tier 3
- in the North West there were new rankings for both the Health and Safety and Corporate and Commercial teams.
The latest edition of the directory inducted 6 partners into its Hall of Fame, including Gavin Cummings and Nigel Blackwell (Corporate & Commercial), Mark Blois (Education – institutions; Education – schools; Public Sector – East Midlands), Sarah White (Health; Personal Injury and Clinical Negligence – Defendant), Christian Dingwall (Health), and Stephen Matthew (Local Government). The Legal 500 Hall of Fame recognises partners who are at the pinnacle of the profession.
A further 33 partners were ranked as ‘leading individuals’, 9 in the ‘next generation partners’ category and 19 as ‘rising stars’.
