Browne Jacobson’s Manchester office has brought festive cheer to charities across Greater Manchester by raising and donating over £5,000 through its ‘12 Days of Christmas’ campaign.

Launched at the beginning of December, the campaign saw the national law firm’s Manchester team take part in twelve different fundraisers across two weeks, in aid of charities including Mustard Tree, an organisation tackling poverty and homelessness, and Bolton Lads & Girls Club, a charity for disadvantaged youth.

The fundraising festivities included a brass band concert, a 5K run, volunteering activities with some of the organisations involved and various cheque presentations and donation drives.

The campaign concluded yesterday on 17th December with a cheque presentation to bereavement charity CRUSE, and the Browne Jacobson Manchester team presented donations to Dogs4Rescue and Ollie’s Army in the days prior.

Amanda Callaghan, partner and head of the Manchester office said:

“It is part of our ethos at Browne Jacobson to uplift and give back to our communities, and it has been an honour to work with such fantastic local causes in the run up to Christmas, including initiatives such as The Clare Daly Foundation and Reuben’s Retreat.

“After the success of last year’s 12 Days campaign, we were excited to relaunch again for 2019. Our Manchester team have really enjoyed having the opportunity to unite and connect with our local communities and have really thrown themselves into this project, whether it be volunteering, running a 5K or making all important donations. I’m incredibly proud of their work and efforts, which have raised a significant amount for these vital charities.

“To add further support to the 12 Days of Christmas campaign, donations can be made through each of the charities’ websites. These will directly aid the important work of organisations across the county, and the local people they support.”
