In house lawyers: skills and networking session

Please join us for an in-person event on Thursday 07 October from 3pm - 6.30pm where we will be hosting an In-House Lawyers and CEOs Skills Development Workshop and Networking Event.

As we enter into the last quarter of the year, we will discuss the latest market developments and changes in commercial and employment law, providing you with guidance on how you can prepare and manage these shifts, better informing you for the legal changes in the year ahead.

Richard specialises in commercial, IT and outsourcing agreements, complex projects for private and public sector clients, collaboration, distribution & agency contracts, e-commerce and consumer law.

Ian Deakin

Ian Deakin


Ian acts across the full spectrum of employment law issues, including day to day advice and employment tribunal litigation. Ian has a particular interest in TUPE transfers and Service Provision Changes, including insourcing and outsourcing. Ian has worked on a number of cases for our education clients including recently successfully defending a claim against a MAT for race discrimination and unfair dismissal, and another against a school for age discrimination.
Ian has also assisted a government department in managing an employment tribunal claim that led to the exit of a difficult employee. In 2016/17 Ian was a Non-Executive Director at the White Rose Academy Trust and regularly presents webinars and seminars on employment related matters.
