9.30am - 1.30pm
We are delighted to join forces with BHP and invite you to attend one of our popular free trustee training seminars.
This session will be a more in-depth consideration of charity governance and financial issues, compare to our previous two trustee training sessions.
The House of Lords Select Committee Report on Charities specifically recommended that all trustees and senior management should embrace ongoing training and development.
This seminar offers a more in-depth consideration of charity governance and financial issues for trustees.
The speakers are Jane Marshall, Head of Charities at BHP, Chartered Accountants, who will present on the financial duties and responsibilities of charity trustees, and Catherine Rustomji, Partner at Browne Jacobson, who will explain the legal duties and responsibilities of charity trustees.
Informative and practical, these seminars will also provide an opportunity for you to network with other trustees and share information with other organisations in order to develop new perspectives and insights into the running of your organisation.
