Following input from the tech sector and MAC, the Government yesterday announced a new route for entrepreneurs wishing to startup a business in the UK.
This new visa will replace the Tier 1 (Graduate Entrepreneur) visa and will widen the pool of applicants, to include those who have an endorsement from a university or an approved business sponsor, including accelerators.
The Government has confirmed that this route will be faster and smoother for business founders setting up in the UK.
The new visa will launch in Spring 2019. We’ll keep you updated as soon as further details are announced, including how to become an approved business sponsor.
