Sian is a senior associate in our health and advisory litigation department. Sian is a member of our child neurological and obstetrics division and represents NHS trusts in claims relating to birth injuries. Sian is very experienced having worked in the clinical negligence sector for over 13 years.
Sian started her professional career representing claimants in personal injury claims. After eight years working in this field, Sian diversified into the field of clinical negligence initially representing claimants. For the last five years, Sian has been working at Browne Jacobson representing NHS trusts, specialising for the past two years in claims resulting from birth injuries.
Sian prides herself on taking an empathetic and collaborative approach, looking to remember that at the heart of every claim regardless of the outcome there is an injured person who deserves to have their claim dealt with quickly, fairly and respectively. When considering her response to claims, Sian likes to try to take an innovative approach to litigation to seek to get to the issues at the heart of the claim and looks to develop a good working relationship with her opponent whilst still representing her client’s best interest.
